A Quick Look at the 2010 Ford Fusion Hybrid

ford fusion hybrid image Ford has just updated the Fusion for 2010. With sleeker lines and a slew of new features, the latest Ford Fusion promises to be a substantial improvement over the outgoing model. Perhaps what will make the latest generation a standout for buyers is the all-new Hybrid variant which claims to be more efficient that the class leading Toyota Camry hybrid.

The new Ford Fusion Hybrid is ultra quiet, and features an all-new exterior that’s far more handsome than the outgoing model. Inside, the Fusion is roomier as well which has pleased families at Used Cars San Diego whose inventory also includes new Ford models. The dash is not quite as elegant as the new exterior, but fit and finish is commendable.

As for the operation of the hybrid system in the new Ford Fusion, it’s able to switch between electric and gas power seamlessly, without shudder or other disturbances. Despite the dominance of the Japanese hybrid technology, Minneapolis Ford dealers say that Ford has successfully improved upon the technology to provide seamless operation.

For environmentally conscious drivers, the new Ford Fusion Hybrid comes at a cost of about $3,200. With the added price, buyers will get 41 miles per gallon in city driving and 36 mpg on the highway. Ford says those numbers make not only more efficient than the Camry hybrid, but the numbers also make it about fifty percent more efficient than the gasoline-powered Fusion, which St Paul Ford says is what makes the Fusion Hybrid an incredible value.

Hybrid buyers now have more choices when it comes to the midsize segment. With attractive offerings from Toyota, Honda, and Nissan, domestic car enthusiasts can now consider the Ford Fusion Hybrid as well.

Ford Appeals to Families With Transit Connect One

Transit Connect Family One Concept Ford remains confident about the flexibility the Transit Connect van delivers for businesses of all sizes. Its affordability, utility, and manageable size made it the ideal commercial vehicles for small to medium size businesses. But Ford also believes that these qualities will also help the Transit Connect become popular with families as well.

The Ford Transit Connect One was developed with the feedback of nearly 200 families, which San Diego Ford dealers say has contributed to an exciting new product. Due to debut at the upcoming New York Auto Show, the Ford Transit Connect One offers a range of features and conveniences that the entire family will appreciate, including a digital media system, sunshade, and wireless Web browsing. Up front, the Transit Connect One also gains an in-dash computer that helps schedule family activities and helps to keep track of forgotten cargo.

In addition, the Ford Transit Connect One will also feature other options that include a whiteboard on the door panels of the rear cargo area. There will also be folding scooters mounted on the door panel. Plus, there are compartments for rechargeable walkie-talkies and even a slide-out canopy for the back of the vehicle. Los Angeles Ford dealers believe that all of these unique features will likely make the Transit Connect One a fun vehicle for families.

While it has already become a solid performer as a commercial vehicle, the Ford Transit Connect One looks to be a diverse family hauler, and a great alternative to lackluster minivans according to Richmond Lincoln. With cavernous space and an array of family-friendly features, we expect Ford won’t have trouble convincing growing families to take a look at this distinctive and versatile vehicle.
